Keeping the Faith

Hi friend!

I made you something using a quote that was in this morning's sermon notes ~

That sure says a lot doesn't it?

It applies to all and any difficulty you may be facing right now.

Many years ago, as I was struggling though a very hard time, I found much strength and encouragement through what has become one of my favorite Bible passages - Isaiah 40:28-31.

Today I couldn't help but think of those precious promises while reading the above quote.

I'm sitting here typing and wondering something -
"How are you doing friend?"

I know a few of you are going through a difficult time. You struggle. You wonder if you'll ever make it through this one.

If we were sitting together right now, discussing our struggles { I struggle, too }, with our iced coffee
{ my drink of choice } or tea or coke in hand, this is what I'd say to you ~

"Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak."
(Isaiah 40:28-29)

So dear one, let's decide together that ~
Today we're keeping the faith because He is greater than  _____________ !
{ fill in the blank with anything you want, and yes, He is greater than even that! }

  4. so true, so many believe that Jesus is a crutch admitting your too weak to deal with your problems. if they only new this truth.

    1. Hi Teresa! You're so right. I guess all we can do is live it out for others to see, keep the faith in how great our God truly is and let Him witness the truth to their spirit.

  5. beautiful. Our God is so great and so awesome he can handle any problem we have as long as we let him.and sometimes that's the hard part.

    1. Yep! You're so right - sometimes the letting go and letting Him take over is the hardest step.

  6. He is greater than my doubts in myself. He is greater than unforgiveness. He is greater than Satan's lies.

    1. Saying a big "Amen!" to all you have stated! Thanks for stopping by and leaving me a comment.
